Patrington, is a village located on the East Coast of Yorkshire. 4 miles from the nearest beach and surrounded by vast countryside to suit walkers, cyclists, or those wanting a tranquil break.

 

The village is filled with all manner of amenities. A butchers, a bakers, hair and beauty salons, takeaways, a garage, a gift shop, pharmacy and cake shop to name a few. There are also 3 pubs within a short walk. Dunedin Country House, the popular wedding venue and restaurant is right on our doorstep so we offer the perfect place for guests to stay.

 

At the heart of the village is the magnificent St Patrick’s Church, a 14th Century building known as the ‘Queen of Holderness’, standing at 189 feet and visible from miles around.

Spurn Point, a famous nature reserve, part of the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. This offers everything from a gorgeous beach walk, abundant nature, a lighthouse, and the opportunity to understand what makes Spurn Point a natural phenomenon.

Holmpton Secret Bunker, an underground nuclear hub stemming from the Cold War. This attraction provided an insight into the once secret world of Cold War defence.

Withernsea is a popular seaside town offering visitors beaches, arcades, fish and chips, shops and more.

Burton Constable Hall & Grounds is an Elizabethan Mansion set in 350 acres of parkland offering a great family day out only 25 minutes away.

Kelsey Gardens is an area of parkland and lakes offering fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding and open water swimming, located only 10 minutes away.

Kingston Upon Hull is our nearest city and was the City of Culture in 2017. Boasting a Marina, Old Town, The Deep aquarium, museums and a vast array of shops. There is plenty to keep you entertained and is only a 30 minute drive from Patrington. It is also on a frequent bus route.

Beverley is a historic Market Town located approximately 45 minutes away from Patrington. In addition to numerous shops and a market, Beverley boasts a stunning Minster and a popular Racecourse for fans of horse racing.
